I took this picture on vacation in Gatlinburg. I love penguins for some reason. I think it all started when I watched a show on a educational channel. The scene was one of a killer whale trying to eat some penguins. Apparently penguins can fly up out of water like they have been shot out of a cannon on land. That whas where I began to see them as a cool but funny bird.
Have you ever really wondered what animals are thinking when you take a picture of them? In this setting hundreds of people are looking and and taking pictures of penguins. This one was all by himself close to the corner of the glass. I just get the feeling this is what he is thinking:
"Do you guys realize you are looking at a glass box full of birds??? How lame are you? Seriously???"

He's probably glad that he is not one of those penquins that have to babysit the egg in the freezing anarctic.
