I know that I continue to disappear for weeks and then appear for one post. That is because life is busy. Right now we are in the process of buying a new home. That has consumed some of my free time. Also I am working on my Masters Degree in HR at Mid-Continent so the workload keeps me busy when I think I might have some free time. I am finally settling into my new job (which I love). Family time is limited so any extra time I have I spend it with my wonderful wife and kids.
With that said....
I noticed a weird truck the other day while driving to Paducah. It was labeled inedible pet food. After a little research (who knows why) I found out that basically it is leftovers from slaughter houses and any other place leftover meat or animal parts are. This is then taken to a plant to be processed eventually into stuff they might feed to animals. It is a gross process but I was glad to hear they didn't use it for hot dogs.
About 2 years ago I drove up behind a truck that may have very well smelled like death or the deepest pits of Hades. It looked like a mess and as I drove by the truck was labeled animal blood. That was probably one of the grossest trailer trucks I have ever seen. I had to hold my breath while I drove by the thing. What purpose was that truck? I don't know ... but I must say ...I hope it doesn't go into hot dogs.
Why write this? Who knows...a random thought? All of this talk has given me a craving for hot dogs. Yumm
