A day of relaxation and research.

Today I spent a full day just sitting with the family and relaxing. We have been very busy at church with moving to a new campus. A day of much needed rest and relaxation really hit the spot. We went to story hour with Chloe and then to Sam's for some snacks for the kids. Then lunch and a nap.

We picked up the kids from school and then headed to the Heartlands Park. The kids had fun playing and running around. We figured that it would be a good idea because good weather is going to be fleeting away soon.

Warning !!! Below might bore you!!! Read at your own risk!!!

First you need to get caught up.

1.) Site 15CW64

2.) Failure to confirm

Well I haven't given up on this search and never will. I told Buffy today that I will probably be an 90 year old man still researching this. Over the last month I have found out more information than I had ever known. The site is not only a mound site but also it appears to have had a stone box burial grave. There was research to support this presented at the Southeastern Archaeological convention years ago. The researcher was C.K. Hensley which is actually Christine Hensley. After further research I found there is a second site right across Clarks River from it. It is labeled site 15CW65. This researcher was Jarrod Burks. Finally there was a map and more written details. Here is a little picture of the map:

Obsessed?? Some might say it is so. But I will not stop...I will find it and there will be pictures of the site with GPS coordinates that won't be published. Maybe this is my way of getting an honorary Phd...lol!
