I spent some time searching the internet for mounds and after and exhaustive search I found it. It is Archaeological Site 15CW64. This site was added in 1985 and very little is published about it. The address is restricted....ha ha ha. It is currently labeled with the Mississippian Cultural Affiliation. The time period is around 1000-1600AD. It's "function" is burial and graves or Mom's playground whichever you would like to say.
So this Saturday Morning the Hughes Boys are headed out to find the long lost site of 15CW64. We are going to take pictures of this site and finally have a map to it. I know that this may seem small to you. But since we are Calloway Countians we should take great pride in this areas heritage. Some people will wonder why take pictures of a hill? Well after seeing some pictures of Indian mounds on the net why not add ours to them. I mean look at this one:

I know we can do better than that! Maybe we can label ours "Tabers Recreational Area". LOL!
