Genesis 17:8
The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”
Abram is still in the land of Canaan during this time. Even after the issue with Sarai and Hagar, God reminds Abram of his promise. Isn't that just like God to continue to love us even when we make mistakes. God doesn't cancel promises when we don't hold up our end of the deal. What a perfect example of this in the life of Abram.
Short post but we are still hanging out in Canaan.
