Today was another soccer Saturday. Hannah is not feeling well but wanted to play anyway. Her team did not play like they did last time. The Monarchs (Hannah's Team) lost 7-0. It was one of those games where you were just hoping they would score. Of course their coaches team strategy was to tell them to "Kick It!" the whole game.
Denisha came over to hang out with us while Trevor was at a fellow policeman's funeral. Denisha decided to ride to Walmart and home with us instead of taking two cars around Mayfield. All of a sudden Nisha starts to get sick. I look back and her face had a panic in it. It is hard to park a car fast and not jostle the sick person. We parked and Nisha's face returned to normal color.
Abbi's game was on the opposite side of the spectrum. The cheetahs continued their undefeated journey and with a 7-2 win. Abbi had a goal assist and a goal. When Abbi scored she smiled so big it made me cheer even louder.
By now the afternoon was over and we rushed to Murry to see Jordyn and her prom pictures. Jordyn looked beautiful and her dress was pretty. She made a comment to my brother John about what she use to call him (My Johnny) when she was little. It seems only yesterday she was yelling, "Mamie!!!" at my wedding.
Finally the Hughes guys stayed home and chilled while the girls headed to prom.
