The Winter Trip

Well we did make it back and I hit the ground running as soon as we did. So blogging has been a bit put off until today. The trip went great and we took 30 youth with 12 adults to Gatlinburg, TN. The place was awesome and I highly recommend it for any group. If you would like the name please leave a comment and I will get it to you.

I do believe this was one of the most powerful youth trips we have ever done. I don't take credit for the material simply because God is the one that inspired me to do it. The youth looked long and hard at their lives. They examined their past, present and future with mistakes and all. A lot of hurt came up in these sessions especially the present one. I really hope to have those pics from that session soon. I don't believe there was a dry eye in the place and that includes me that was watching from a distance.

Another thing I enjoyed about it was that I spent some one on one time with my niece Shania. For the last few months I have spent time with Jordyn. As for Nisha, I have known since she was 2. So time with the youngest was great. We laughed and cried together and I felt a stronger bond leaving Gatlinburg, TN with her. Oh by the way...she HATES Hardie's. LOL!

All and all the trip was awesome and God moved. We two that decided to give their lives to Christ and one to surrender to ministry. Whoooo Hoooooo!
