How in the world did I do that?

Last night while laying on the couch and Chloe was crawling all over me. I was playing with her and tickling her for awhile. She obviously got so excited she jumped and head butted me in the nose. That sent pain up my nose and into my head. After I regained my senses (what I have anyway) I grabbed my nose and Chloe just stood there pointing at her nose and said "Nose...nose".

All was well until this morning. I was sitting at my office desk and went to pick up the phone. I fumbled the phone but regained my grip just in time to lift it up toward my head. Somehow I wacked myself in the nose again. It was so hard that it brought tears to my eyes. Then I had to talk on the phone as if nothing happened.

I dare say many people can say they have done that. It left me asking the question. How in the world did I do that? The answer has still not come to me. Maybe that is because my nose has been shoved in to my frontal lobe.
