Tuesday we ventured to Nashville to visit the Nashville Science Museum, go to Opry Mills Mall, Build a Bear Workshop and Rain Forest Cafe. The kids had a great time at the museum for the most part but the dinosaurs and a few other things scared Hannah and Chloe some. On the way out Micah was enthralled with the "Batman Building" so we drove downtown to show them how big it really was.
When we got to the mall we kind of strolled around and scoped out the restaurants. After putting in our name for dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe we headed back to Build a Bear to let the kids make an animal. Here is the kids choices:
Micah - A dog named "Danny" (I have no idea why)
Abbi - A bear named "Pink" (Guess what color it is...)
Hannah - A bear named "Purple" (Guess what color it has on...)
Chloe - A bear (she is to old to care so I had to name it) "Rose"
After that venture we headed back to the cafe to eat. It is a little noisy in the restaurant and the animals move around every 15mins so the girls (Abbi, Hannah) would hold their ears during the storms and such. I did find that if I grabbed my knife and acted like i would stab the oncoming mechanical animals Hannah simmered down a
bit.
All and all we had a great trip and it was a blast to see the kids have fun! I will post more soon about other adventures during my vacation. Until then stay safe.
