Thanks to the love of my life.

Over the last few days I have been out of commission. The first day I was lucky to be able to get up and go to the bathroom. In my mind I really thought the surgery would be simple and that I would have very little pain. Of course I learned real quick that was not the case.

Buffy has been a nurse, cook, maid, mother, wife and pretty much the glue that held things together while I have been recovering. She made sure I took my meds and would set the alarm so that she would wake up in time to give me my med doses. She would fix me meals and bring me items that I though I needed. One day she brought me home some Jolly Ranchers and a Nascar Illustrated Magazine. This may sound small but to me it was huge. Renting movie after movie for me to watch in the bed.

I say all of that to inform you of the wonderful things Buffy has done for me. There is much more that I didn't mention. I know...I know Buffy would say that I would do the same for her and that I have. That is not the point. The point is that the love of my life took care of me when it was hard to take care of myself.

To Buffy:

I love you more that life itself. Second only to Christ you mean the most to me. Not every man is so lucky to have a wife as great as you. The greatest part is that you are also my best friend. How did I get so blessed? God brought me you and showed me what love really is. I understand why other languages have a hard time describing the word love. The English language makes it so small. When you make it so big. I just hope that I can return the love you have given me.

I love you eternally,
Jamie

You know that I love you too! More than you'll ever know! I cannot imagine life without you in it. We've been very blessed and God is so good!
