Another day in the wraps.

Well I spent the morning laying around like an old man with a heating pad. I finally got going around 10:00. The girls were playing dress up. One minute Abbi would be a princess and Hannah was a cowboy. Then the next Hannah a princess and Abbi a ballerina. This continued through the AM hours.

I went to get Micah from school today. He must be learning about Martin Luther King Jr. He got in the van and the typical questions start. I ask him did he lose any stars first. Then I proceed through his school day. He explained the he learned about Martin Luther King Jr. That he was a good man that tried to help people with different skin colors. Then he tried his best to explain how that Black people were mistreated and that it was wrong. He didn't understand why people would do that. I myself never have either. See children don't see color. You know what they see? They see love. Finally Micah explained that he had some Hispanic children in his class and that he wouldnt not treat them badly. Out of the mouth of Babes!

I hope that Micah's little 6 year old speech will cause you to think. Are you out there with a racist attitude? Childrens eyes have the freshest view of Love.

"Love does no wrong to anyone, so love satisfies all of God's requirements."
Romans 13:10

Like father, like son....remember when you were little and we went to Disney World and you wanted to know what that chocolate lady was doing in our room?

Yeah... Even as adults our "Child like" questions and love get tainted by the world. I just hope that our children never pay attention to the differences in race. I know I will stay firm in my beliefs.
