Genesis 18:16,22,33
16 When the men got up to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them on their way.
22 The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the LORD
33 When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.
Abraham walks out with his guests until they begin to head toward Sodom. All of a sudden Abraham is before the Lord as the visitors dissappear. God begins to reveal that Sodom is about to receive judgment because of the wickedness that plagues the city. Abraham begins to plead for the city to hold it from destruction. This might have something to do with Lot living there. After some pleading God explains that he will not destroy the town if there are at least 10 righteous in the city. That sure sounds good right?
Maybe not considering these verses:
Romans 3:10-12 Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Eccles. 7:20
