14 When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained men born in his household and went in pursuit as far as Dan.
While Abram is living in the area of Hebron he receives information that Lot is in trouble. There was warring in the Area of Sodom and Lot just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Enemies robbed and Lot and took him off as well. Uncle Abram was not happy about this at all. He loads up a small army to take care of business. Apparently this small group of men was his Navy Seals because it notes they were the well trained ones. The first pursuit ends in the area of Dan.
