The Journey's End

Genesis 24:1
"Abraham was now very old, and the LORD had blessed him in every way."

It has been really difficult to leave out other stories or travels that didn't include Abraham throughout this journey. In the last years of Abraham's life it seems that he was trying to close things up in a way that would bless his son and family.

1.) Abraham wanted to ensure Isaac married a woman of like faith. (Rebekkah)
2.) Abraham wanted to ensure his family and second wife was taken care of. (Genesis 25:6)
3.) Abraham wanted to pass things off to Isaac. (Genesis 25:5)

We leave Abraham as he is being buried beside Sarah. Abraham was definately a man of faith. At times he struggled on his journey. Each time though he gained more insight about living a Godly life. God blessed Abraham in every way and his name still rings throughout the world. What a great man and a great travel.
