May graduation at MCU

I woke up early this morning to look over sermon notes for Sunday. Then it was time to head out for Mid-Continent University Graduation day. The graduate brunch was packed out and the speakers did a wonderful job representing their cohort groups. There were a few times it teared up listening to some of the trails many had overcome. In a traditional setting most students never realize how blessed they are. When you exit that traditional setting things become more difficult. There are families, jobs, church, events and basically life that takes up so much time. Many times adults spend all their waking hours at work. I was amazed as over 300 people graduated today. This may not seem like a lot for major Universities. But at MCU we witnessed 300 individuals and families that have accomplished a major task that many would never considered.

It has been a long day and I am tired. Until next time.
