Breaks from work are always good no matter where you are. It is a time to relax and refresh which leads to a happier worker. The thing is you have work that is mounting up while you are gone.
I was really only off 2 extra days for our spring break at MCU. So I was hoping that my students were easy on me. When I get to work I notice I have almost 50 emails and 8 voice messages. That is actually not that bad but it includes the normal every day work and calls. Plus, I will be traveling to Hopkinsville tomorrow for a registration so I need to be prepared for that.
Over time everything was getting caught up. It was an all day catch up game but it is done. Tomorrow is a new day with new experiences.
