Sam's Club

It is pretty sad when you are excited about going to Sam's Club. In the Hughes family though it is a trip that we need to make at least once or twice a month. We buy peanut butter in a 55 gallon drum because our children eat so much of it. I don't know why I love that store. Maybe it's because:

1.) You have to flash your Sam's Club Membership card like you are privileged all other must do straight to the service counter. Ha Ha Haaaa suckers!

2) You can eat in there. Twenty bucks can feed a family of 6. The hot dogs are the size of your arm.

3) There is only one size of drink. Gianormous!

4) Everything is in large quantities. I am just amazed that some products have huge packaging. I mean who doesn't want a tub of ranch dressing you can swim in?

5) SAMPLES! On a good weekend you can eat a full course meal for free. Most of the workers don't even give you the advertising talk. They know you are only there for the food.

6) Our kids love it. I am not 100 percent sure why but I think it has a lot to do with #5.

I will post a You Tube video of Tim Hawkins. He speaks about Sam's Club. The Sam's part begins around 5 mins. 15 secs.

We used to get those HUGE peanut butter jars too. And then when it was empty we'd play with them . ;)

Our family can eat a 6lb jar in about 3 weeks here. I don't usually even eat any. Maybe this time I will and see if we can get through it in 2 weeks. That is crazy you use to do that. I still play with them...AWESOME bongos
