The Mid Continent crew ventured out again this month. It was a great event and one that keeps us guessing all night long. We started off the afternoon with a team meeting and then off for bowling. The team I was assigned to was destined for failure. The main reason is that I was in that group and my bowling skills are somewhat horrendous.
The second trip was off to Paducah to eat at Toyko Habitchi. It was fun to sit beside people that we didn't work with as much and learn about their life. The meal was awesome and our chef was the best of the bunch. As always when fire is involved you have my attention. I have seen the grills before but I have never witnessed a chef take fire in his hand and throw it at the meal. I was impressed. I keep trying to get him to set something else on fire but it didn't work.
After the meal we drove to the future site of the Advantage Building in Paducah and then we headed to a concert. As a massive group of Mid-Continent workers we went to see Mercy Me with Phil Wickam opening for them. The concert was great and the night ended well.
I love my job and my leaders. God has truly blessed me in ways I don't deserve.
