Community Fellowship

Over almost 18 years of attending churches and ministering I have been amazed at how God works in each church. I have felt a part of each one because I have no doubt God had me at each one for a reason. This year I believe God has revealed to me church in a amazing and unique way. The fellowship, worship, study, preaching, teaching and service (as in is done in a way that people are drawn to it. Of course we all know that Jesus is the person that draws people to him but I truly believe that Community is open to ministering how Jesus did. You don't have to wear a suit, you don't have to fit a mold you simply come as you are and be ready to hear and experience the word.

Our pastor teaches in a way that calls us to search the scriptures and actually OWN our faith. He doesn't tell the congregation what to believe he shows them how to find the answers. I have a respect for Bro Rusty like none before. I want to also note that his wife Sherrie is an amazing lady and easy to talk to. We spent some time with them recently and realized also that they have a great little son (Samuel).

In a long time we have not been on the end of being just a church member and not staff. I believe a goal that God has shown me is supporting the pastor and his family. It takes a team effort and many times the pastors family is left out. I pray the best for them and want to ensure that as long as we are members there that we support and pray for them.
