The portal in Mayfield and pictures from the swing.

On yet another adventure a month back we heard there was a walking trail in Mayfield. I had no idea what that would mean because after all ...It's Mayfield. We headed down the block and found the entrance to the trail off our road. It was gravel chunks and I thought it was exactly what I was expecting. Then it emptied onto a nice sidewalk which wound around the wooded area. as we walked there were exercise stations and and even a nature observation place with tables. I was pleasantly surprised at the nicety of the trail. Finally it lead to a really nice playground with a circular trail around it.

We all headed to the play area to let the children play. There were no benches at the park area so we sat on the swings while the children played. Of course that lead to me swinging and during that time I decided to try to take pictures from the swing. Most didn't turn out because it was a camera phone but I did get a picture or two. I know that sounds weird but you know what? Enjoying and laughing at little things in life sure does make things better. Also it is very difficult to swing with one arm and take pictures of yourself without falling out.
