This summer Mid-Continent University Advantage reached the 1600 goal in enrollment (which we have already crushed again). Because of meeting this goal we were taken as a team to Patti's. First we broke into teams and played putt putt. I believe our team may have been last place and YES it was because of me. Apparently anything on a hill I don't have the strength to putt it up.
After the game we were all taken to Patti's for some food and team learning. We were all handed a sheet where we tried to figure out information about each other by clues on the sheet. Me being the new guy made my answers virtually meaningless. I did though learn a lot about my team. After the meal we were taken to the lake. Mid-Continent had rented two house boats to take us all out and enjoy the rest of the day. The boats were nice and best thing was that there was a inside where I stayed most of the time. Summer heat and lake waves on a gut full of Patti's is a bad combo. Some from the team went swimming and one tried to drown themselves but luckly we have a group of guys that I think may have been in the Navy Seals (not really).
The day ended well and it was a great team building experience. I love my new job and feel blessed that God would provide for me a job where each one of us works so well together.
