Since we have been county folk our normal drives down the road are not the same. There always seem to be weird stuff either dead or attempting to cross the roads. About a week ago I notice a huge ball of fur dead on the road. My normal thought was a cute little dog or fat cat. As I passed it the animal didn't look like either. On the way back home we stopped for further examination. It was a huge furry bunny. I am assuming it was someones pet rabbit that had made the escape or rabbit season should produce some awesome stories this year.
Yesterday we decided to make a trip to Murray for a few things. As we pulled out the driveway I noticed a nice sized snake curled up sun bathing on our road. !WARNING descriptive story ahead! I then drove the way of this snake and did what any redneck american guy would do. I ran over it...not only did I run over it but I attempted to burn out on it's body. That tends to tear them up a bit more. I backed up and noticed he needed one more pass. Then as I am about to head forward again I notice my wife is having a panic fit with her feet and body levitating above the chair in the van. I knew Buffy was afraid of snakes but I had no idea she was afraid of them outside the car. I guess she thought the half dead snake would make a last ditch effort leap into the car like a reptilian ninja and then bite her. I had to laugh as I hit the gas to finish off the snake. Thump!
Next Wednesday night we will officially be small town city folk again. I do enjoy the city life more. I don't know why but I just do.

Hahaha! ;) My grandmother is terrified of snakes and one time when she was laying out in the sun a big black one crawled right over her forehead. She said she about had a heart attack. lol
Congrats about your new house, by the way! Yay!
