Mother's Day

Of course you all know that today is Mother's Day. This morning the kids got up and made cards and stuff for Buffy. I ran out to a local doughnut shop and bought us some doughnuts. After eating and telling Buffy how great a mother she is we had a little church service at the house. It was neat to see the kids have an interactive lesson.

I have a wonderful wife as many of you know. If you don't know it then go do something else with your time rather than disgrace my blog with your reading it (lol!) . Anyway Buffy is a great mother to our children. She always has their best interest in mind in all that she does. She has begun to teach them at home and pour even more of herself into them. I am so blessed to be married to such a great woman of God.

I also have a great mother myself. I had the opportunity to spend the week with my mother on a mission trip to AZ. It was a great honor to share a mission with my mom. She has always been there for me. During the hard times in life my mom is always on my side. Here lately I have leaned a lot on my parents. Someday I know it will be my turn to do the same. With such great mentors I know I can't go wrong.
