Um...Wow!

The last few weeks has been a ride to say the least. A roller coaster has nothing on us here lately. Anyway...After being in vocational ministry for over 11 years God is leading us a different direction. Is it scary?? Um...yeah it is! Weird thing is I am not afraid. I know God will provide and has really showed me things about faith and integrity. I have a wonderful and supportive wife, beautiful and healthy children and family that will always be there for me. How can I go wrong??

As of May 17th I will be an adviser to the Advantage Program at Mid Continent University. I am really pumped over it to tell you the truth. Although it will be a huge change for me I am excited about the new.

Will I stop ministering? No! In life you are called to minister wherever you are. I am positive that God will allow me to minister in a new and fresh way. For too long I have had tunnel vision. I have explained to God I am called to minister but this is the area I know and that is where I stay. Now I have opened my eyes and seen the fields that are white for harvest. Those fields are everywhere and each unique I just have to be willing to work them.

So after 11 years of ministering to students I now leave my plow for someone else to pick up and continue on. I must head toward the field God has called me to. Now that I have seen it ...It's time to work!

We are so grateful to have you back in the Murray area. We have had the prayer warriors out in full force. Prayer is a mighty tool. I know there have been a few bumps over the last few weeks. "Away from me Satan, for it is written, worship the Lord your God and serve Him only."
Our church really believes in this scripture. We will keep praying for you and your family and will rejoice when you are finally here.
