Crazy Summer

This week has been crazy already. We have been hosting World Changers here in Owensboro. So everyday we have been feeding them lunch. It has been a true blessing but I think the people at Sam's will know my first name soon because I am in there everyday. Today was my last day to go to the work site with the group to feed the missionaries. Tomorrow I head to Washington, IN to Omish country with the senior adults. I will be their bus driver again but they feed me well and treat me like a king. You can't go wrong there. Last night we had a movie night with the youth. We watched College Road Trip and fired up the popcorn popper. I don't know what it is about those machines but it makes great popcorn.

Today when I came home I had to mow the lawn. Normally Monday is my mowing day but rain has pushed mowing back. So needless to say the lawn is taller than I would have liked it to be. I mow down almost as low as it goes because of the clover flowers. I am trying to prevent my little ones from getting stung by a bee. Well the combination tall yard, semi wet grass and low mowing had me stopping about every 10 mins to dump the grass catcher. It was a bit hot out there today. It felt like I sweat my own weight outside today. Finally the yard is looking good and I am showered and hydrated.

Now I sit here listening to Buffy talk on the phone with her sister. Buffy is pulling another Martha Stewart right now. Boys don't get flowers like girls do at plays. So Buffy is making Micah candy for the opening night of Annie Jr. Stay tuned I am sure she will blog about it soon.

Well I hope you all have a great one!

Some boys will probably receive flowers. I just figured that OUR boy wouldn't want a flower. I figured that he wouldn't be too thrilled with that idea. Plus, my idea tastes better!
