Back to Reids Orchard

Yesterday was basically an outdoors day. It was so nice outside we just had to enjoy the weather before it gets blazing hot. We all headed back out to Reids Orchard again. This place is booming with stuff almost all year. Right now they have U-pick cherries and strawberries so we decided to go get some. The kids loved it ...except for a brief moment of drama when someone mentioned snakes. LOL!



After picking our fruit we headed back to pay. At the little store they have all sorts of things to buy. Somehow we got roped into buying Apple Cider slushes that were way to expensive for the size. Anyway after petting goats, dodging a wasp and staring at roosters we headed home.

We all went for a bike ride on the Green Belt and then stopped at the park. Finally we headed back home and the kids played out front for a bit while Buffy began dinner. After dinner we had home made cherry cobbler (yum!) and watched our family movie.

It was a very relaxing day and the kids were wiped out. I am sure Buffy will write more details about this event but I just wanted to update you all. Have a good one!
