Kris Allen

I know the net is flooded with the new American Idol Winner Kris Allen. I was hoping he would win in the end. The whole time we assumed Adam Lambert would win with his ability to go from a simple vocal chord to blood curdling scream in 1 second.

It seemed Idol did a good job of hiding both contestants lifestyle and backgrounds. I do believe Adam has talent but not the humbleness and morals suited for one to be and "Idol". On the other hand Kris has shown nothing but a humble mindset even once winning the event. I believe also that Kris had more musical talent than Adam. With him being able to pick up an instrument and sing at the same time. Actually taking the time to learn the notes of a song. Adam on the other hand spent his time preparing his look with a pound of make-up, Halloween costumes and perfecting the crazy eye camera look.

I had heard that Kris was a Christian but we were never allowed to see that even on his trip home for the visit while waiting for the final show. Look what I found:

Well it almost appeared Idol was shooting to get Adam a win. The last part of the competition they had a song picked for them to sing. It was "No Boundaries" that was co-written by Kara DioGuardi an Idol judge. When Adam sang it praises rained down on him from the judging panel. When Kris sang it two judges both said that the song was to high for them...one being the judge that wrote the thing. Humm.....that is odd. Then last night Kris sang his song and did well. Then later Adam's turn started off with his elevator of fireballs descending down from the roof. It was like his grand entrance onto what Idol judges assumed would be his win.

Well after all was said and done Kris (the underdog) appeared victorious. Even then his humble personality was apparent. He said that Adam deserved to be up there. I don't think he thought he was going to win. I am sure some of it was the constant barrage of "Adam is gonna win" quotes all over the net as well as the hints from the judging panel.

I don't normally post about stuff like this much. I felt compelled to share my thoughts on the subject. In a way a Modern day David defeated the Modern Day Goliath. Faith and Morals prevailed over immorality this time. Kris make us proud and keep the faith brother.
