Busy week last week.

Last week our nieces came over to visit during spring break. Apparently they enjoy visiting coffee shops while in Owensboro because that was a must while they were here. We really just spent the week talking and hanging around the house. Saturday Walnut Memorial Youth went to Nashville for laser tag and shopping at Opry Mills Mall. I think one of the most memorable moments is when I heard Donald Rice (On of our adult chaperones and teacher) yell "Revenge is Mine!!!!...ha ha haaaaa!" I laughed so hard when I heard him say that and I was way across the maze.

Sunday our family stayed for church service. Afterward we went to Cheddars to eat. I have to admit I love that place and it is on the best side of Owensboro...lol! After the meal we went home a chatted awhile before they headed back to Murray.

Today we took Hannah to the ENT (Ear Nose Throat Dr.) I kind of dreaded this visite because I was pretty sure how it would turn out. Hannah has always seem to get strep throat at least 2 times a year. This year she has had it 4 times within 2 months. So the Dr recommended that we take her tonsils out. That was the news we knew was coming but didn't want to hear. She has taken it so well and doesn't seem to care that she is going into surgery in about 2 weeks. I know part of it is that she doesn't really understand it so that is ok by me.

Anyway...I just wanted to catch you up on happenings within the Hughes House.
