Daddy and Chloe's day out

Today Buffy went to volunteer at Highland so I took Chloe to story time at the Library. We got there and she played like usual before time. I sit there and watched her take little beads and move them along a wire. While I was doing that ladies and there children slowly came in. When time came to head into the room there were no men to be seen. Now I know....some men work so the wife can stay home. Well I do the same...but I make time. I have a hard time believing that there wasn't one guy out of the families represented that couldn't have come and participated. It was maybe over an hour and it is fun to see your child learn, play and interact.

Off the lecture box now...it was fun to spend some time with Chloe. Before we know it she will be headed to school like the rest. I want her to remember that I spent time with her as well. Actually I enjoy all the times like that with all my kids. I find myself searching the net for things to do as a family here in Owensboro. We have found a bunch so keep watch on Buffy's blog for more events.
