Pyrotechnic fiesta!

Last night we went to the Riverfront and watched fireworks. It actually wasn't to hard to park and walk to where we watched them. With the mass amounts of people out on the boardwalk type area you would think it would have been hard but it wasn't. The fireworks were nice and the kids (*Click here->besides Abbi) liked the fireworks.

Beforehand our neighbors invited us for a grill out and firework display. When I say neighbors I mean the WHOLE street. We had already made plans to go out so we didn't attend. On the way back home after the firework display we saw the conclusion of our neighbors as we drove up. I must say they were pretty good. I am sure there was a bit of money tied into those.

This morning I looked on the sidewalk and road and notice huge amount of firework pieces all over our sidewalk, driveway and yard. I wanted to take a picture just to show you how much they shot. Before I could though I noticed our neighbors and children out sweeping up the mess in peoples yards and all. We really do live in a nice neighborhood.

I posted a comment on Buffy's site. The picture of Abbi looks just like the one we took at Disneyworld during the fireworks display. I guess your neighbors had a "block party". Sounds like a great community. We cleaned the pond this weekend and got some new plants. We went to Debbie and Roger's yesterday for their gathering and fireworks over their pond. No one was injured during the display, but I think Nikki had a couple close calls. Later today, I hope to go pick some blackberries. There is a good crop on the side of your creekbank.
