The science experiment that went waaaay wrong.

Last night we had our first night of VBS. I was placed as faithful but clumsy assistant (obviously...lol). We finished the night off with the Bible verses and an experiment. Once I was geared up it was time for the experiment to take place.

As we began to pour out our dry ice the bag was being a bit stubborn one would say. The ice would not come out so Jason (head scientist) had to help me hold the bag to steady it. As we held the bag together the ice would not still come out. So finally in one big clump...

Boom!!! The smoke consumed us...Before it was all said and done we couldn't even see the stage or kids out in the auditorium. I was laughing so hard I was crying. Needless to say our experiment went down hill from there. Jason was suppose to be able to make a bubble with the bucket but it kept popping. Every time we would dip our gloves down into the mixture and fish out the soap mess. The bubbles mixed with the dry ice and poured out the bucket like something you would see if you put too much detergent in the washing machine. The kids kept screaming ..More Ice ...More Ice! So what did we give them MORE ICE. Again we put too much and the white cloud of experiment failure consumed us. We realized then....we would not complete this wonder of science. I must say though I think it entertained waaaay better than the actual correct one.

Tonight we try again...who knows what might happen. Ha Ha haaaaaa....
