AZ Mission Prayer Walk

This year we have constructed a neat idea for information on a mission trip to AZ. Our gym will be set up into four rooms. Those four rooms will have information about the people, problems and spiritual life of the Native Americans. Adults will travel from place to place learning about how to pray specifically for the T.O. People. There will be their "pray bag" that will be filled in each room with things to remind them of what to pray for.

EX. 2 and 1/2 beans - The people of the T.O. use to be called Papago Indians which meant bean eaters. So each person will take those beans and put them into their bag. The 2 and 1/2 stand for the suicide rate being 2 and 1/2 times higher than the national average. So people will learn to pray for the Native Americans in that respect.

Each room will be different and student lead. Our youth will take a vital part in this presentation. I do believe this will be a great experience.
