The hustle of it all.

Over the last few weeks I have been so busy that even blogging is not an option. With church activities, Dr's visits, Mission Trip work and family things have been moving fast. I would like to thank my parents AGAIN for taking care of my children here lately.

Dad and Mom you have been a lifesaver and we really appreciate and love you. You have spent a lot of time babysitting our kids and we know you must be drained. Thanks so much.

Christmas is getting closer and closer and things seem to actually be slowing down a bit. That is a good thing so we can focus on the holiday. You know over the last few days I have realized something.

Christmas is not about presents.
It is not about parties.
It is not about holiday music.
It is not about Church presentations.
It is not even about family.

It is about the savior stepping out of heaven and into the world. He came to reconnect us with God in a wonderful relationship. We go back to the time when God walked with Adam in the garden. Now God through the holy spirit walks again with us. That personal relationship has been re-established.

Once we focus on that the list above falls into place and becomes more special. With Christ as the center

The party is about a savior.
The holiday music becomes worship.
Church presentations become spiritual reminders.
Families can gather to learn about the Savior's gift.

If you are reading this remember to keep Christ first.

I'll reiterate that there are two more babysitters waiting in the wings. We do have phones....and a house.
