A brief week summary...

I really didn't know how to title this post. As a blogger there are times where I don't really think it is worth typing about a certain day. Over the last few days I do believe I have something to post. So this is kind of a summary.

First I would like to tell you about my run in with the law. Thursday night I was headed home from our youth night and was driving through town. I had cut through some streets to scare my niece Shania. After a brief detour we headed back home. I noticed a police man began following me very close. I minded my stops and speed to keep from getting a ticket. At one time I thought he was gone but before you knew it he was behind me again. All of a sudden the lights are on. I pull over and the officer does the famous "how are you doing tonight??". He then informs me that I have a light out over my license plate. I wanted to say...shouldn't you be a Wal-mart catching shop lifters? Instead I just told him I didn't know that it was out (Nor did I care...lol). While this is happening Jordyn is snapping pictures of our bust. Anyway he runs my license and sends me on my way. I guess he realized I wasn't a crack dealer.

Second on a better note out children were in a Christmas play Wednesday night. Micah was a wise man (gets that from his father) and the girls were angels (Also gets that from their father). It was great to see the different personality types. Micah ate up the stage and was the only one bowing at the end. Abbi looked terrified at first but did fine. Hannah just went up there no problem. Meanwhile Chloe is yelling "Abbi!!! Abbi!!!" the whole time. So although Chloe was not seen in the play she was definitely heard.

Finally tonight we had the Hughes Family Cookie night. We all got together and cut out cookies, baked and decorated. Everyone took part in this. Buffy got best of show with her evil Christmas bear. Below you will see the little Christmas devil. Buffy told the kids that she would leave that one for Santa. If that cookie was left for Santa I know one thing. He would not return and that cookie would haunt his dreams. Luckily the kids had the opportunity to choose a cookie to eat. Micah picked the bear which was a dumb and smart move. Smart that Santa will not have to be terrified but dumb because the demon now rests in Micah's stomach.
