This weekend we went to Wurth's farms with the family. This is a great trip for the kids and it kind of starts the fall season for us. When you come into the farm there is a lot to do with the kids. They have inflatables, a maze made out of hay bails, petting zoo and horse rides.
Once the kids have finished with that we head out on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. Along the way there are "scary" Halloween type things that hang from trees and in the woods. You arrive at the patch the kids unload grab wagons and head out to pick their pumpkin. This patch is pretty large and there is all sizes to pick from. After traveling the patch all the little ones jump back on the hayride and arrive back to pay.
After all of that we finally end the adventure with hot dogs, chips, apple cider and the all to famous apple sundae. The kids really enjoy the trip and talk about it all year waiting for the next trip.
