Finally wore Dad down.

After hint and hint and more hints I have finally wore Dad down. He is a Nascar fan somewhat. I actually started watching it because he did when I was a kid. It took forever to get him to commit to going. Probably because races are generally far away, on bad days or he thought I wanted him to pay for my ticket. So I figure why not go watch a Nascar Craftsman Truck Series race. I keep hearing Nascar fans say that if you want to see how "Cup" cars use to race you should watch the truck series. So the date is set: August 12th at 4:00PM in Nashville, TN. This track is a 1.33 Mile track with 14 degree banking. The trucks can get up to 160mph on this track. David Ragan or Erik Darnell will probably be the ones I will look for. Although they are new drivers. They are Roush drivers which would be linked to my driver Matt Kenseth in the Nextel Cup Series cars.

I am excited about this chance to see a race. You all may be bored to tears now and probably didn't even read this far. That is OK ....IT'S MY BLOG SO TOUGH...LOL!!!!
