Day 1 (Thursday)
On this afternoon we all met at the church. I was anxious about what would happen and who I would meet. We stopped in Clarksville to eat our last "American meal" for this trip. I ate steak because that is manly stuff and I need to remember the flavor. The crew then hit the road again. Once at Nashville Airport we check baggage and went to our terminal. Here is what we found out:
" We heard that the flight ( first flight from Nashville to Chicago ) would be behind thus making us miss our flight to Frankfurt, Germany. I immediately prayed that God would work this out. I don't know how this will turn out."
"I met a young Hispanic lady on the flight. She had been divorced (from an abusive relationship) and was heading home to see family. She worked as a nurse in Nashville. "
This lady was terrified of flying. So I chatted with her. We shared and I found out that she was a Christian and a lot about her life. I shared about my family and our purpose for this trip. This is what happened in Chicago:
"Once in Chicago we made our flight. I was seated next to an older lady that was going to Germany to bicycle. I barely slept on the plane."

Bro Dennis Jammin' (he is listening to Heavy Metal)
Whew we made the plane. Amazing that God is in control at all times. We did have to move rather swiftly to get to the terminal. But weather had delayed our flight from Altlanta. All was good. You can finally see that I couldn't sleep on this long flight. I stopped here simply because this leads in to the next day.
I will continue on this journey next Wednesday.

I've had a love of Poland since about the 3rd grade. It's one of my strange fascinations, but it's a language I've always wanted to learn:)
Have a great time and God Bless!
