Watch carefully and patiently.

It seems each day I long for the Lord to come back more and more. I can actually imagine it. The wonder and splendor of it all. No more pain, sorrow, death, sickness, war and famines. But seeing Christ face to face is the kicker. I mean to see a face that beams love.

It almost makes a person impatient. I don't want to wait. I want Jesus to come now. Once again I am reminded it is not about my time it is all about God's.

Psalm 130:6-8
6 I long for the Lord
more than sentries long for the dawn,
yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7 O Israel, hope in the LORD;
for with the LORD there is unfailing love
and an overflowing supply of salvation.
8 He himself will free Israel
from every kind of sin.

Imagine a watchmen waiting for his time to be up. The sun is his clock. Have you ever spent a day at work where you are constantly watching the clock. It creeps doesn't it? The day will move faster if we get to work. That is so applicable to these verses. We just need to be about our father's business and the time will fly by.

On a side note the children's musical is tonight at the church. The kids and Buffy are staying home (trying to stay well). I must get a bath I am rank. Good afternoon all!

"Be assured that if God waits longer than you could wish, it is only to make the blessing doubly precious." Andrew Murray
