My home PC. I hear taps playing.

I have to admit before explaining the problems that this computer has been great. We bought this Dell over 4 years ago. I have upgraded memory and hard drives since then. I even gutted an older dell laptop for parts. So she has been great.

The worry is that she will give up the ghost before I can afford to get a new one. I kind of need one for school and work. The greatest thing about the ole girl is that she has been paid for. I may need to lay hands on it and pray that it holds off it's timely death.

Here is a poem I wrote about our pc:

It seem like only yesterday you arrived.
So clean and so new.

The anticipation of your hum.
With so many new things to do.

The nights we have spent together
Papers, research and fun

Were good times
You always helped me get things done.

Now the days have come with,
black screens and blue.

Internet connections
not as good as the use to.

Hold on! Girl hold on!
4 years and counting.

We got more years together
even thought the tension is mounting.

So if the day of your demise grows close.
I want you to know this

You have been money well spent
with a farewell kiss.
