(Friday) Back to school..Back to work.

Well today was my son's first "official" day of school. He was in pre-k last year but this seems different. Maybe it's because he will be there all day. Kassa Kelso is his teacher. She is a relative through marriage. My cousin Derek (a youth pastor too) is married to her. My wife dropped him off today. I woke up this morning with butterflies in my stomache as if I was going to school my first day. This must start the endless cycle of worry for my children. I am sure as Abbi and Hannah enter it will only get worse. Don't worry about me I have ten types of medication I am on to deal with it. LOL

Back to work. I come in today to prepare for Sunday. 9:15AM and all is well at fort Poplar Spring. As I was driving to work today I realized that the Lord wants true worship from us. Untainted by the World, Unending in time, Unfailing in Love. I was listening to Tree 63 nd realized many things about thier music. They are a band about Biblical Truth and unafriad to actually say "JESUS" in thier lyrics. I began to ponder these groups that are so called Christian. But as you listen to thier lyrics there is only a hint of Christ. Is this a reflection of Christ?? I want to be a true reflection. I am proud of these groups actually taking a stand. They will never headline for big secular groups. But when their day on earth is through they will hear:

"Well done good and faithful servant"
"You ran the race ....and a crown awaits you"
