Sunday..it's here!! Praise him!!

I was surfing around my usual sites this morning. Then I noticed my brother's blog. Most of the time it is laced with junk but today it caught my attention. He was on this notion of "Time". He has just now after all these years (25) realized that if you have no purpose or meaning in your life that you begin life at 0 and end it at 0. This is true for people that are not believers. There is no meaning. Everything in life seperate from Christ is meaningless. I praise God that he has entered my life and gave me direction and purpose. I praise God that I am no longer held to time.

Each morning we should wake up and praise God for another day. If we fail to wake we as Christians have awakened to be with Christ eternally. Praise HIM!!!!

Saturday ...really Sunday Eve

I have noticed that I try to cram every thing possible into a Saturday. Simply because for us Christians Sunday is a high traffic day. We wake up go to church,sunday school and drive home. Then we usually rest for a few precious hours before heading back for meetings or practices. The evening services and then the ride home. Busy but we must not forget the reason we go. We are there to Worship. Worship a living, loving and REAL God.

I just hope that as we look at Saturday just as children view Christmas Eve. We should be excited to see what God is going to do. Where God is going to lead. Who God is gong to use. You all remember that feeling as a kid anticipating something big. A birthday, holiday or a family member returning home. Oh how much we need to realize the same about Sunday. Christ want's to meet us as a group of believers. WOW I can hardly wait!

Friday the drama unfolds

Well today was the last of our children's friday programs. It was in a nut shell drama filled but fun. Children from grades k-6th grade. Joydyn and Shania my nieces came along. Man I got too much to be doing to be typing ....until next time.

Thursdays are lonely in the hundred acre woods.

Thursday is a day a the office. Secretary is out today (much needed day off for her). Pastor is golfing (aka visiting the Green family, also a much needed day off). So I am here holding the place down. I usually work on website, prepare for upcoming events and such on these days. I seem to get more done but also seem to become rather lonely.

Associate Pastor = Pastor Etc

Youth Pastor = Only one brave enough to hang out with wild teens that stay up all hours of the night. (LOL joke youth)

Children's Pastor = to numerous to write down. But also has been awesome!
