Beautiful

During camp we sang this song a few times. Each time I just wanted to dance down the isles as the song builds. Each verse just takes you up and up. We have a beautiful God.

"In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel." Isaiah 4:2

Vacation

My vacation officially ends today. So it will be off to Walnut tomorrow. We didn't go to the beach this year which was a change. We observed a "staycation". I enjoyed spending the weekend with my wife and kids. Here are a few things I observed while on vacation.

1. Grass doesn't care if you are on vacation it still grows.

2. Rain will not wash off stamps they put on your hand at Holiday World.

3. The all knowing "Tom Tom (GPS) does not know all.

4. Polar bears will win in fight ...those things are massive.

5. Anything grilled outside is better.

6. Biking into summer gnat swarms is not good and make sure to keep your mouth closed.

7. Getting rid of cable may be one of the best decisions we have made this year.

8. Walnut Memorial is the best fellowship out there.

9. I have the greatest wife and children in existence.

10. Time flies by too fast hold on to every moment.

11. Family comes first...vacation or not. And that is the way it should be...

Well now that I am rested up it is time to hit the ground running.
