The Big Three Two

I am now 32 and to tell you the truth I don't feel much different. Here are a few things I know about the old 31 year old this time last year:
  • I had a gall bladder.
  • I had one more year until I needed to renew my Drivers License.
  • I had never been to Arizona.
  • I knew very little about the Native Americans.
  • I didn't have Chloe in my arms.
  • I only had one week of vacation.
  • I didn't think graduation would ever come.
  • Even though still pregnant Buffy was beautiful and still is.
  • We still had a Dodge Carvan.
  • Our kids had never been in a wreck.
  • I had never been to a Nascar Race.
These are just a few things that now are completely different about my life. This may seem strange to you but just sit back and think about all the things that are different about you now. Some things you new were going to happen and yet others were unknown. Some were happy and others might have been tragic. The end result is a year has passed and we are another year older. We have memories that are good and bad. In the end though I have to say I loved my 31st year and look forward to my 32nd.

Nite all!

Sorry Wal--Mart (lol)

In my quest for a business management degree I have put together many papers. Some of my most favorite ones to write were about Wal-Mart. After working for them for 6 1/2 years and then studying them I have realized many things. First they have strayed away from Sam's original values and statements. Second they have let money get the best of them. Finally cooperate Wal-Mart is actual so detached from it's stores it would have no idea how to run one or what they might look like inside.

Right now I am going over past papers in search for some more information about their pay standards. There is so many different cases out there about this it should cause Wal-Mart to wake up. I doubt they do simply because it is so wealthy that it pretty much dictates everything. It is sad because this company has so much great potential with the right leadership they would thrive. Here are just a few of the cases I site:

Dukes v Wal-Mart Stores, Inc
Savaglio v. Wal-Mart Stores, C-835687.
Presley v Wal-Mart Stores
, Inc.
Fiorenzi v Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

Sam focused on customer, associate and community and he lived those ideals. Wake up Wal-mart! Watch out or there will be a chance that you will not survive much longer. Even King Solomon himself (richest king) allowed his lifestyle and focus to get off. Eventually Isreal was affected by it and they would have a downfall.

Sorry for the rant...not like me... but it needs to be said.

Happy days are here again!

It seems that things are finally coming around. I will officially graduate May 12th. I am done with all of the extra classes and now I just have 1 more class after this one. I was telling my boss, pastor and brother that I really didn't ever think I would be able to do all of this. In the past I would start classes and never really finish anything. So in May I will have my degree in Business Management. That is a big accomplishment and I am (for once) proud of myself.

The mission trip I went on really spoke to my heart again. God has given me a burden for our Native American brothers and sisters in Christ. I am glad God has given me a people group that I love and respect.

Buffy's birthday is Sunday, March 25th. She will be 32 and I will turn the same age on the 30th. This June we will have been married 13 years. Tonight we will be going to Paducah to eat out and shop some. So you all have a good nite!

The Grand Canyon

I have officially been to the Grand Canyon 2 times. It is an amazing site and it really helps you to appreciate God's creation. As I sat there and took it all in it is almost to much to fathom. Imagine yourself looking at a picture of the Canyon. Your depth perception is messed up when viewing it. I really do not think any picture or video will ever do it justice. I recommend that you all (if at all possible) go visit at least once in your lifetime.

Back from AZ (Again)

Hey you all I am back from Arizona again. It was a long trip but God moved again. I am encouraged each time I go that there is a great mission on today's Native American Reservations. This time we worked in Arizona City, Casa Grande and Casa Blanca. We had 2 people put their faith in Christ at Arizona City and many at Casa Blanca.

We knocked on about 1,700 doors in Arizona City and encouraged, prayed for and loved each person that we talked to. And yes, We did have a lot of doors slammed in our face.

We also had over 50 children at our VBS in Casa Grande. It was amazing because I wasn't expecting over 15 or so. Well God showed me...lol!

I am glad to be home with my family. I am in the process of getting caught up so I need to jet. Cya all later. (More to come about AZ mission)

I can see the end...and it looks good!

Hopefully after this week all I will need to have completed for my degree is the last few classes. I am in Human Resources right now. There are 2 more classes and I am finished. I am finishing up a Introductions to Missions right now. I think I can knock this one out in a night or two.

I can see the end of this collegiate ride and it looks good. Sorry for the short post but I have to finish some work. Nite All!
